"I cannot say enough positive things about Rick and Paula of Cronin Hill Photography. I would give 10 stars if I could.
1) Value: They are with you the whole weekend & engagement session. While you may think, why do I need all of that, getting to you know as a couple, figuring out how best to capture your moments is a learning process. Rick and Paula learned this well before our wedding day and so they KILLED IT at our wedding.
2) Quality of photos: My husband and I are not photogenic. We don't like taking photos of ourselves. Rick and Paula were able to capture beautiful formal photos and even more beautiful candids. They have magical ability to find the moments where we looked our best and capture them perfectly. They are good at the formals but you can tell how great they are in the candids. STUNNING (and we are not photogenic people). They also capture little parts of your day (e.g., rings, flowers, church) that you want to preserve.
3) Bedside manner. They are amazingly calm, professional, and collected the entire time (despite me freaking out the vast majority of the weekend). Every time I started to look overwhelmed, Paula asked if there was anything she could do, etc. I cannot overstate how important this is on your wedding day. Despite how prepared you think you are, having someone on your side, without any family drama, is ESSENTIAL to a calm bride.
4) Speed. They understand this is a digital age. They had a few pictures up on Facebook so I could share with friends and family in a remarkably short amount of time. I have friends who didn't see ANYTHING for months. I have so much more than that already.

brides, eliminate wedding day stress
how many of you wished you had hired a planner for your wedding? well, to all of those in the planning stages now, we have the answer to enjoying the big day and eliminating the overwhelming feeling that can come along with it!
over the years, we have seen many DIY couples. we think it's great when a bride and groom want to add their own personal touch, but often times they take on more than they can handle. you've now added the task of perhaps setting up the ceremony site, putting bouquets together, printing last minute programs, setting up and decorating the reception tables, coordinating timelines with all of the vendors, and much, much more. all of this while trying to get your hair and makeup done! this ultimately adds additional unwanted stress to the day. things start to run so late that the couple sacrifices what is most important....actually enjoying their own wedding.
the venue, caterer, and photographers are all booked, but why not an event planner? the event planner executes the client's vision, keeps the day running smoothly, and mostly importantly, on time. more often than not a couple runs so late other parts of the event suffer, less time for photos, no cocktail hour, and a reception that goes by so quickly you had no opportunity let loose and dance.
we agree that every couple should be involved in their own wedding, but we STRONGLY agree that they should ENJOY their wedding!
with that said, we'd like to introduce you all to the ladies from eutopia events! we met ruthie and lauren a couple years ago while doing a local wedding in deerfield mass, and we are SO glad that we did!!! these are two talented people you definitely want involved in any event that you are planning, especially a wedding! after seeing how attentive they are to their clients needs, how much they love what they do, and their skyrocketing addiction to chocolate :) we knew we wanted to work with them again in the future! as luck has it, we will be doing just that! we can't wait to be working side by side with them a few more times this year!
